I’m in Australia?? WHAT. I’m from the UK. I was just on holiday in Thailand, and now I’m in Australia meeting the CEO and Chief Revenue officer of YouPay; this can’t be real.
Okay, so rewind a week; I took the plunge; I took the call with YouPay after reading the initial email they sent to me. As an experienced OnlyFans model and creator, I was intrigued. And before you know it, I am having these incredible, information-filled conversations with their Chief Revenue Officer, and they’re practically offering me a job! As a seasoned OnlyFans creator, I was excited to hear how YouPay plans to support creators like me.
I am finding out so much about YouPay as a company, how they’ve been launched for a few years now, and how they’ve noticed they’re not supporting a large chunk of their users like they’d want to (spicy creators), and that’s where my job comes in and has been created: ‘Head of Creators.’ As a passionate advocate for the OnlyFans community, I see this as a great opportunity to make a positive impact.
For the first time in my career as a spicy OnlyFans creator and active advocate for change and normalization of the adult industry, this is the first company that’s said, ‘We recognize we’re a great product for creators; we DON’T want to turn our backs on them, and we DO want to invest and adapt our platform to better creators’ experience and growth.’
Now, don’t get me wrong, I already know there are platforms that get made SPECIFICALLY for OnlyFans creators and models, and the majority of the time, they’re made by creators, and I think that’s so awesome. But how often is it that we find allies? People in business recognize us and acknowledge we’re more than just people who ‘take pictures and sell them.’ There’s some real power in that.
So, long story short, I took the job.
