A Shopper is the person who places the original order and will be receiving the items.
A Payer is the person who pays for the order. The Shopper sends the Payer a YouPay link to make a purchase.

YouPay offers the same payment methods the shop offers for regular payments with the most common being PayPal and credit card.
Yes, YouPay supports PayPal and other payment methods including Visa and Mastercard. YouPay uses the shop’s original payment methods to process the Payer’s payment.

Yes. As an example, a young person can populate their shopping cart and send a YouPay link to their parent for approval and payment.
Individual age restrictions may apply on shops that offer YouPay.
Yes. A YouPay order acts like any other regular order meaning coupon codes can be applied.
Yes, if you are the Shopper the order is connected to your customer account at your chosen shop. This means you earn Reward and Loyalty points as you would with any other shop.
If a payer needs to request a refund for payment, they will need to contact the merchant directly to request the refund. YouPay cannot assist with this process as we are not responsible for the actual transfer of funds between a payer and a merchant.

Once it is paid for by the Payer. At this point the original order made by the Shopper will be flagged as ready for processing. You then process that order like any regular order and ship it to the Shopper.
