Creator Community Manager

The role:

The Creator Community Manager plays a critical role in driving recruitment, engagement and retention of Creators on YouPay’s new YouPay Verified platform through strategic initiatives and outreach. We are looking for a community manager to support Creators to maximize their gifting and monetization opportunities using YouPay and to build and cultivate relationships with Creators. The ideal candidate has experience as a creator and is a motivated self-starter. This is a full-time role and is best suited to an ambitious, community minded person who believes in the long-term future of the creator economy and is committed to supporting creators to enhance their earning potential.

What you’ll do:

• Foster, grow, and manage our community outreach, developing ground floor relationships with Creators to create long lasting partnerships
• Schedule and execute on content, maintaining social media calendar
• Cultivate and maintain relationships within the vast number of Creator communities online
• Maximize social media reach and influence with Creators
• Monitor Creator and community trends, sentiment, and product performance
• Provide recommendations for ongoing community outreach initiatives, messaging, and promotions to both existing and prospective customers
• Act on behalf of our Creators and bring their voice into team discussions and meetings; ensure Creator sentiment, desires, and needs are understood and met through ongoing support and the development of our products
• Help manage challenging situations quickly and effectively
• This role is based anywhere in the world

Who you are:

• You are currently or have been a successful Creator
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of creators from all genres (gamers, adult, fashion etc.)
• You are familiar with the approach creators take to monetizing their content and engaging with the fans
• You have a deep passion for the future of the creator economy
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of YouPay’s Creator engagement approach
• Extremely proactive, high empathy and authenticity
• Bonus points for relationships with key influencers in the creator economy including high profile creators, podcasters and community groups
